Nails, London (2000)
A series of nail bombs wracked London courtesy of a racist and homphobic member of the British Nationalist party and the National Socialist Movement, David Copeland. He planted and detonated bombs in Brixton, Brick Lane, and Soho. The bombs killed three, and injured another 129 people in April 1999.
Nail is a response to this series of events. 1 metric tonne of nails made into a burial mound 1.5 my height and width. Nails are to be taken away by visitors.
