In this exhibition Raimi scrutinises limitations in contemporary society, which surface at the point of social and political contact. It is important to push towards the limits of one’s society, challenging implied consent to restrictions within a democracy, convincingly constructed as addressing a threat posed by another.


Through Limitations Gbadamosi will show what happens when limitations are challenged. He will interrogate the private and public space, questioning the role of the gallery as a site and as a response to the limitations of that space. He will also perform two talks about limitations and social barriers, and at each of these, a multiple will be made available
